Tips
ISO
Press the ISO button on top of the grip – it's located directly behind the shutter button in the ISO/WB/Fn1 row next to the status display – and select the value with the rear dial. Keeping ISO under 6400 keeps your images clean and low-noise.
Aperture
You adjust the aperture directly on the lens's aperture ring. If your lens has no ring or it's set to "A", turn the front control dial instead. f/4–f/8 keeps most subjects sharp throughout.
The Fujifilm X-H2 features a dedicated ISO dial and shutter speed dial on top. These allow you to quickly adjust your settings without diving into menus, making manual shooting more intuitive and efficient.
Utilize the X-H2's Film Simulation modes to enhance your photos with different moods. For vibrant landscapes, try Velvia; for a classic look, use Classic Chrome; and for dramatic black and white, select Acros.
The X-H2's in-body image stabilization (IBIS) allows you to shoot handheld at slower shutter speeds without introducing blur, which is especially useful in low-light conditions.
Take advantage of the electronic viewfinder (EVF) on the X-H2, which offers a live histogram overlay. This helps you ensure proper exposure before taking the shot, reducing the need for post-processing.
The X-H2's weather sealing allows you to shoot confidently in challenging outdoor conditions, such as rain or dust, making it ideal for landscape photography.
Customize the function buttons on your X-H2 for quick access to your most-used settings. This personalization can greatly speed up your workflow, allowing you to focus more on capturing the moment.
