Tips

ISO

The SL2 allows for a native ISO range up to 50,000, perfect for low-light scenarios.

Aperture

You can set the aperture directly using the lens aperture ring if your lens has one.

The Leica SL2 features a high-resolution electronic viewfinder (EVF) with a live histogram overlay. This allows you to see exposure levels in real-time, helping you make precise adjustments in Manual mode.

Use the Leica SL2's in-body image stabilization (IBIS) to shoot handheld at slower shutter speeds without introducing blur. This is particularly useful in low-light conditions.

The Leica SL2 offers customizable buttons, such as the FN button, which you can assign to frequently used settings for quick access. This speeds up your workflow in Manual mode.

Take advantage of the Leica SL2's weather sealing when shooting landscapes in challenging weather conditions. This ensures your camera is protected against dust and moisture.

Activate Focus Peaking in the Leica SL2 to easily identify what's in focus when using manual focus lenses. This feature highlights the edges of in-focus areas, making it ideal for precise focusing.
